Plastic Bag Collection

Plastic shopping bags are common items found in every houseful. They are often throw away and left to pile up in landfills. In order to spread awareness about the dangers of plastic overuse and discarding, we asked our members to collect plastic shopping bags so we can find the alternative ways to recycle them and learn about different ways to reduce plastic use over the course of the month. We were able to collect and recycle hundreds of bags as a result.
