Assist the Elderly

Selfless service is often connected to the idea of only assisting the homeless or assisting children in need; often forgotten are the elders in our communities.
In our generation elderly as usually left at assisted living and retirement homes that contain new and well-maintained facilities. Therefore, they are not reached to as often in the members of the community.
Selfless service does not have to be limited to physical activity or maintenance of a location. In fact, it can include simply spending some time with them.
